Brothers’ Battle

In July 2018 we took Zeleziarne Podbrezova from Slovakia to the Poznan area in Poland for a training camp.

In one of their matches they played against Lechia Gdańsk. In goals for both teams were GKs called Kuciak. It’s not a coincidence, they’re siblings.

In Podbrezova’s goal it was Martin Kuciak, the older of the two and in Lechia’s goal Dusan who also had brief spells in England with West Ham United and Hull City.

Younger Dusan was the happier from the two keeping a clean sheet. Martin had to take the ball out from his net 3 times.
